The 2025 Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia just announced its lineup, and it’s looking pretty amazing. This could be even better than last year’s memorable tournament.
Last year’s event was special for one big reason. It featured the final match between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. Sure, it didn’t count in their official record since it’s an exhibition tournament outside the main ATP tour, but nobody really cared about that.
Nadal played well, but Djokovic won in the end.
| Name | Age | Points | Stats 2024 |

After the match, Djokovic got emotional paying tribute to his longtime rival. He said he wished Nadal could keep playing. Now Nadal’s retired, so that really was their last dance.
Jannik Sinner beat Carlos Alcaraz to win the whole thing and took home an incredible $6 million – the biggest prize money in tennis history.
Sinner claimed the money didn’t matter much to him, but come on. Six million dollars? Most people didn’t buy that line.
That was Sinner’s most recent win against Alcaraz, though again, it doesn’t count in their official head-to-head. Since then, Alcaraz has been on fire. He’s beaten Sinner five straight times in regular tournaments, including that incredible 2025 French Open final where he saved three championship points.
The Big Two Are Back
Both Alcaraz and Sinner have committed to returning for the 2025 edition, scheduled for October 15th to 18th. These two have been the best players in men’s tennis by far since early 2024, so they’ll definitely be favorites to meet in the final again.
Alcaraz has proven he’s the best on clay and grass by winning the last two French Opens and Wimbledons. But Sinner’s dominance on hard courts is why he’s world No. 1 right now.
That makes Sinner the favorite for this tournament, since it’s played on hard courts.
The organizers are definitely thrilled to have Djokovic back again. As tennis’s most successful player statistically, fans around the world still want to see him play. At his age, every tournament could be one of his last.
Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune were the other guys last year, but they’re not coming back this time. With Nadal retired, that means three completely new faces will show up in Saudi Arabia.
Here’s the cool part: they’re just taking the current top 6 players after Wimbledon ended.
Three Fresh Faces
Alexander Zverev is ranked No. 3 and will make his debut at the event. Some people were surprised he didn’t get picked in 2024, so this fixes that.
Zverev’s had a really tough time since losing the 2025 Australian Open final to Sinner. After getting knocked out in the first round at Wimbledon, the German admitted he was in a dark place and even said he might see a therapist.
Jack Draper is the second new player, and what a rise he’s had. The Brit has had an exceptional 18 months, winning the 2025 Indian Wells tournament and reaching his first Grand Slam semifinal at the 2024 US Open.
The guy’s been climbing the rankings like crazy.
Taylor Fritz rounds out the list. He’s been the top American player consistently, thanks to results like reaching the finals at both the 2024 US Open and ATP Finals. The 27-year-old recently opened up emotionally about how his son can’t be with him at tournaments, which gives you a sense of what these players sacrifice.
Last year’s Six Kings Slam totally lived up to the hype. The matches were great, the atmosphere was electric, and fans got to see some incredible tennis.
Hopefully this year can deliver the same kind of excitement for fans both in the stadium and watching around the world.
