Novak Djokovic did something really nice before his practice on Sunday.
He was getting ready for a big match against Holger Rune in the fourth round on Monday, after beating Alexei Popyrin in four sets earlier.
Rain had stopped play at Aorangi Park, but once it cleared up, Djokovic helped the staff uncover the courts.
The seven-time champ was all smiles while helping out, and the staff were surprised by his kindness. They even clapped for him when he finished. Wimbledon’s official X account shared a video of this moment.

Unexpected Help from Djokovic
“When @DjokerNole isn’t winning matches on Centre Court, he’s helping out with the covers.”
BBC’s Claire Balding called him “superman” and praised him on air: “He’s got a dodgy knee. Look at him, superman. And then pose for a photo, that will have made their day. Good stuff Djokovic.”
It’s been just over a month since his knee surgery at Roland Garros. Though he said things aren’t perfect yet after his win over Popyrin.
Fans might think it’s heartwarming to see such sportsmanship from a top player.
Facing Rune will be tough for Djokovic as he aims for the quarterfinals. They’ve met five times before and Djokovic has always dropped at least one set, but they’ve never played on grass until now.
What do you think about Djokovic’s kind act?
